RSSB Just Declared the VDO Final Result — 850 Rajasthan Posts, Here’s How to Check

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has declared the VDO Final Result 2026 on 24 June 2026, at its official portal rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, marking the end of the recruitment process for 850 Village Development Officer (VDO) posts across Rajasthan’s districts.

The result takes the form of a final merit list naming the candidates provisionally selected for appointment, along with category-wise cut-off marks. RSSB has published an approximate category-wise vacancy split — around 300 General, 200 OBC, 170 SC, 120 ST, and 60 EWS posts — adding up to the 850 total, though the board has flagged these figures as approximate pending the exact numbers in the official notification.

To check the result, candidates visit rssb.rajasthan.gov.in, head to the Results or Recruitment section, and open the VDO Final Result 2026 or Village Development Officer Final Merit List PDF, using Ctrl+F to search their own roll number or name.

Indicative cut-off ranges (out of 300 marks) shared alongside the result put General category at 210-225, OBC at 195-210, SC at 180-195, ST at 170-185, EWS at 195-210, PwD at 150-165, and Ex-servicemen at 160-175 — RSSB has been explicit that these are expected ranges based on past trends, and candidates should refer to the official PDF for the confirmed figures.

Selection ran through a written examination covering General Knowledge, Rajasthan GK, Reasoning, Maths and Hindi, followed by merit list preparation. Selected candidates now move to document verification, carrying documents including their admit card, 10th and 12th certificates, graduation degree, category certificate, Rajasthan domicile certificate, and Aadhaar card.

RSSB, also known as RSMSSB and headquartered in Jaipur, is the Rajasthan government’s primary recruitment body for Group B and Group C state posts. The VDO role itself is a rural administration position responsible for implementing government schemes and development programs at the village level, and typically draws lakhs of applicants each cycle.
